Small House Plans

The Lakefront Cabin plan offers ample interior room of just over 1,000 square feet, 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, wrap around porch, all on a full basement. The house itself is 24ft x 24ft, with an 8-foot wider porch around 3 sides of the house. First floor has 576 square feet, and the second floor has 518 square feet. The Cohutta Cabin offers almost 1000 square feet of total floor space with one bedroom downstairs and a large sleeping loft above. The loft area even has some extra space for a reading nook or office area overlooking the main floor area. 2 generous porches, front and back, add to the outdoor living space for this cabin. The Balsam Ridge Cabin is the largest of the designs at Sheldon Designs. Floor space comes in at 1,612 square feet with 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, and an open loft above the living area. The Sapphire Cabin is a cozy little cabin with 582 square feet of interior living space. There’s actually 2 bedrooms and 2 baths in this cabin, although the upstairs bedroom is an open loft area. Classic Cabin I is just that – a classic cabin plan. There’s a lot of open space in this 904 square feet. The downstairs is mostly “great room” space with a modest galley kitchen and small bath space. The upstairs is a generous open-style bedroom area. Classic Cabin II is very similar to the Classic Cabin I (above), but with a slightly larger and different floor plan. The first floor has a bedroom and full bath, while the second floor is an open loft sleeping area. The plans are designed for a crawlspace or slab foundation, making it economical to build.
